Operation

The evaporator/cooler is equipment with the purpose to extract the heat from liquids or gases through the cooling liquid evaporation (R12, R22 e R502 and other methane’s derivatives).

It is used in industrial processes or in air conditioning systems. The tables were elaborated for water-cooling.

Manufacturing

Manufactured under the concept of the heat exchanger, shell and tube, it is manufactured with the following materials (other materials under consult):
Tubular Bundle: in cooper with internal fins providing a higher thermal efficiency. Bafflers: Manufactured in carbon steel, they lead the fluid flow with an ideal speed to provide a perfect turbulence with low-pressure loss.
Housing: In classified steel plate and electrically welded.

Tests

The evaporators are hydrostatically tested with 15 kgf/cm² on the sampling waterside and pneumatically tested against leakages with a pressure of 6 kgf/cm².

The tubular bundle is pneumatically tested against leakages with a pressure of 16,5 kgf/cm².
