The individual removable plates exchangers are adaptable to a variety of applications. Initially used for the cooling of products, which are sensible to contamination, such as: milk, juices, wines, etc., they have been reaching several other applications.

The disassembling possibility is the main advantage of these equipments.

The evolution of these exchangers besides enabling other application ranges, made their use at higher pressures possible. The use of each two plates joined by laser welding was recently introduced which increased the application range even more.

Manufacturing

According to the needs, determined amount of plates are joined with gaskets among plates, or a pair of plates and pressed with the use of thread rods.
A carbon steel (or stainless steel) structure supports the plate’s assembly and assures the equipment stability even under higher pressures. In order to facilitate maintenance, steel bars are used at the structure to keep the plates in the right position.

Materials

The plates are manufactured in AISI 316 steel or other materials, which are available under order.
The heads as well as the guide bars and the back column are manufactured in carbon steel or stainless steel, optionally.
