SLV Series

The SLV is useful to protect the compressor against liquid strokes during the starting moment. A great accumulation of coolant liquid on the low-pressure side, both the frigorific chambers and chiller's evaporator, are responsible for these liquid strokes. The suction accumulator size depends on the evaporator's and the circuit's coolant liquid volume.

The liquid separator temporarily retains the liquid arrival lightly releasing it according to the compressor assimilation possibilities.

The SLV choice may be done trough the suction connection diameter of the compressor. The suction connection diameter of the compressor shall not exceed more than 25% of the SLV connection diameter.
