TA and TST Series

The heat exchangers are used in cooling or heating systems of a variety of fluids. The heat exchangers of TST series consist in appropriate equipment for the heat exchanging of oil/water, water/steam, water/water, steam/liquid, etc.

The TA series heat exchangers are projected with finned tubular bundles, which are specific for oil and water heat exchanging.

Manufacturing

Based in the principle of shell and tube manufacturing with removable covers for the tubes accessing.

Shell

Manufactured in carbon steel plate with longitudinal sewing (DIN 2440 tube).

Tests

All heat exchangers are dry air pneumatically tested at 12 bar in the shell and 6.0 bar in the tubes. Sampling hydrostatic tests are carried out at 30 bar of pressure on the shell.

Tube sheet

Manufactured in classified carbon steel plates and machined in CNC operating machines, assuring the quality of the final product. They could be optionally coated in brass for naval use.

Tubular Bundle

TST line - In copper for normal applications and in cupro-nickel, stainless steel and carbon steel for other applications.

TA line – Tubes in copper and aluminum fins for normal applications, and optionally in cupro-nickel for naval use.

Covers

Manufactured in cast iron or carbon steel, they assure the cooling water distribution through several passes at an ideal speed for a good heat exchanging.
